Step-by-step guides for getting started with Content Factory — connecting TikTok, building templates, and scheduling your first post.
Connect your TikTok account
Authorize a TikTok account so Content Factory can publish content and read post performance on your behalf.
- 1Sign in to Content Factory and open the Accounts page.
- 2Click Connect TikTok to start the authorization flow.
- 3Log in with TikTok's official sign-in screen and approve the requested permissions (basic profile, profile details, account stats, publishing videos, and listing your videos).
- 4You return to Content Factory and the account appears as connected, ready to receive scheduled posts.
- 5You can disconnect or revoke access at any time from the Accounts page or from your TikTok account settings.
Create a template
Design a reusable template once, then use it to generate images, carousels, and videos.
- 1Open the Content section and go to the Templates tab.
- 2Choose a template and create a configuration, giving it a name you will recognize.
- 3Set the dynamic text and image slots, and adjust styling such as colors, fonts, and layout.
- 4Connect the template to tags in your content library so it can pull text and images automatically.
- 5Save the configuration. It is now reusable for both manual generation and automated pipelines.
Schedule and publish a post
Generate content from a template and schedule it to publish directly to TikTok.
- 1Generate an asset from a template configuration, or let an automation pipeline generate one for you.
- 2Wait for the asset to finish rendering and move to the Ready state.
- 3Open the Posts page, pick the asset, choose the TikTok account, and write a caption.
- 4Select a date and time, and Content Factory will publish the post automatically at that moment.
- 5After publishing, review views, likes, comments, and shares for each post on the Stats page.
